1. I trusted his vision and ability to lead: Proverbs 3:5 says trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. I stopped second-guessing every decision and started following even when I disagreed. When I let him lead, he became confident. 2. I prioritized our intimacy and sex life: 1 Corinthians 7:3-5 says do not deprive each other. I stopped withholding and started initiating even when I didn’t feel like it. When intimacy wasn’t conditional, our connection came back. 3. I did the My Man Challenge: 30 days of serving, respecting, and honoring him as unto the Lord. Luke 6:38 says give and it will be given to you. I stopped waiting for him to change first and started showing up differently. This broke my pride and showed me biblical wifehood. By day 30, everything had shifted. 4. I watched what I said and how I said it: Proverbs 15:1 says a gentle answer turns away wrath. My tone was destroying him even when my words were right. When I started speaking to him with honor, he stopped shutting down. 5. I respected his time: I stopped demanding all of it and started honoring what he needed for himself. When I gave him space without guilt or resentment, he started choosing to spend more time with me. 6. I stopped waiting for him to pursue me and started pursuing him first: I showed interest, affection, intentionality instead of expecting him to chase. When he felt wanted, he started wanting me more. 7. I stopped making everything about my feelings: Philippians 2:4 says look to the interests of others. I started considering his needs, his perspective, his pain. When he felt seen, he showed back up. 8. I let him see me need him: I asked for his help, his input, his strength instead of doing everything myself. When he felt needed, he became present.
